Unisolar "Unipower" 12V 64W Solar Panel
Each Unipower solar electric module utilises United Solar's proprietary Triple Junction silicon solar cells. These cells are made in a roll-to-roll deposition process on a continuous roll of stainless stell shett metal. The result is a unique, flexible, light-weight cell. The modules are exceptionally durabel. They are encapsulated in UV satabilised polymers and framed with anodised aluminium. A coated Galvalume steel backing plate provides stiffness. The polymer encapsulation includes EVA and fluoropolymer Tefzel, a Du-Pont film. Bypass diodes are connected across each cell, allowing the modules to produce power even when partially shaded. Each module has a weather resistant junction box designed to accept 1/2" conduit. These modules are appropriate for all applications from simple single module requirements to high-voltage grid-connected installations.
